OPEN STUDIO TIME is for those of you with clay experience to use the Pottery in Paradise Studio potter’s wheels, slab roller and other equipment to work on your own clay creations independently. Sometimes you will have the studio all to yourself but at other times you’ll be sharing the open studio with people of various levels of experience working side by side.

Our general requirements to participate in Open Studio are a level of proficiency to work independently and be 16 years of age or older. ***On the potter’s wheel this means to be able to center 2 lbs of clay and “throw” a 3” tall cylinder without help. ***For sculpture and hand-building you need to know how to put your project together so that it can survive the firing and not blow up and destroy someone else’s project! If you are taking a class, open studio time is to practice the skills you are learning. It doesn’t mean you will succeed at first!

HOURS : 10 AM TO 4 PM TUESDAY, THursday and SATURDAy. CLOSED MONDAY. Please contact if you have any questions.

•ONE SINGLE 3 HOUR OPEN STUDIO SESSION: $25.00

each punch is for a three hour session.(family or friend can share your card)

•STANDARD CUBBY RENTAL $25.00 PER MONTH ( you may share a cubby) CLAY AND FIRING FEE PACKAGES includes bisque, glazes,& glaze firing

• 25lb.:CONE 10 Porcelain ( $40.+$60 firing fee): $100.00
• 1/2 bag(12 1/2lb.) any clay : $50.00 includes firing fees

• 1 lb. any clay : $5.00 includes firing fee
•RECLAIM CLAY will be on sale when available:

•1/2 bag (12 1/2 lb.) for $35. with Firing Fee included. Reclaim Clay is sold “as is” .

BECAUSE STORAGE SPACE IS VERY LIMITED: CLAY, TOOLS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS MUST GO WITH YOU EACH DAY WHEN YOU FINISH YOUR SESSION OR CLASS OR YOU MAY RENT A CUBBY SPACE.

PURCHASED STUDIO CARDS HAVE EXPIRATIONS DATES. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU MUST BE AWAY AND NEED TO EXTEND YOUR CARD AND WE WILL TRY TO WORK WITH YOU!

OPEN STUDIO MAY BE CANCELLED OR CHANGED DUE TO VISITING ARTIST WORKSHOPS OR SPECIAL EVENTS
OR HOLIDAYS.
