Casey and Gail have attended workshops in the US and abroad and have seen their own work quickly evolve through studying with a variety of teachers. Traveling to Anderson Ranch Art Center in the mountains of CO, Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Montana, La Meridiana International School of Ceramics in Tuscany....has inspired them create a visiting artist program at St John VI Pottery Inc. This evolving program brings new inspiration to our small island and it has proven to be essential part of our studio. Visiting artist workshops help bring new life to our fellow Virgin Islands potters who live in this beautiful but somewhat remote little island. As this program progresses we get more and more stateside artists who are interested in combining a Caribbean vacation with a hands-on pottery workshop.
